Vintage vs. Retro #1 – Nike Air Max light
I love my vintage!
Thanks to cheap chinese productions and new materials things will never feel the same, but only because of this retro wave I am able to really rock some of my faves again.
However, there is more to a vintage classic than a sentimental value that looks beyond crumbled soles, yellowed glue and ebay or flightclub pricelists.
A time capsule of the style from back in the days, that hints at the pulse of the time when boundaries between functional and playful design were being pushed with the bright original colourways and rough but clear lines. Although you must feel, smell and remember to partially understand...I think you´ll get the point by just looking!
Whether you preferr the edgy classic or the-so-called sleeker retroes. There is no comparison, as they are so different and still the same....
Stay tuned... there´s more soon....
