Gear vs. Presents

My new Jordans are sweeeet... and they feel like stuffing a Teddybear with my feet!
I love the velvet lining and the leather is just too soft to be taken outside, yet.....officially
bought as 'evening shoes', for now they work out great as a substitute for slippers on cold
November nights. Thanks to my myrmidons at Niketown for always keeping me informed!

Returning home I first got a shopping hangover, but a self-made-present-idea
kinda saved my niketown excursion from bad conscience... As Christmas is
around the corner and I am one of those junkies who already spent all their
cash of the coming month, I checked the net for help. Here are some nice
ideas, but then again.....who else, but me, would want to have stuff like this?!?!

Exhibition @ Bar Visite ma tente

On saturday I had a tiny spontaneous exhibition with 2 talented ladys at the bar Visite ma tente in Berlin Prenzlauer Berg.
Together with Leila Garfield and Virginie Maisonobe I showcased 4 prints in collaboration with the french short film festival TRES COURT.

Definitely a well done remake and the best buy of the year, so far!

Probably the best cake EVER made!!!

Since the weather was crap and I was trying to get rid of the restalcohol in my
hungover body, I decided to treat myself to what turned out to be the most
amazing piece of coconut cake!
I had to pay outrageous 3,60 €, but boy was it worth it!!!
Once back home I opened my doggy-bag and the room instantly filled up with
the scent of the brazen sweetness that would be my fate for the rest of the day.
I stumbled back for a minute, trying to catch a clear thought through the mist
of coconut enriched butter cream and soft chocolate layers that the devil baked
himself....hopeless! Like in a trance I see myself shoving one fluffy creamy
delicious piece of heaven into my mouth after the other and taking pics hoping
it will never ever end...
This is an ode to a cake that was too good for this world!
Thank you Café Cream! You made my day as it..s the little things that count!!!

Byebye cake.....
