Nike Air Max Day 2022: Give Fresh Air SNKRS Live Gameshow

I spent the weekend in London to represent Berlin at the SNKRS live gameshow for Air Max day 2022.
3 Teams with 4 candidates each, battling to win a donation of 40.000,-€ for a charity of their choice.
It was an intense battle between the teams, but in the last round London completely turned the tables
and won for their charity @caramelrockofficial !!
Nevertheless Nike will also donate a generous 30k to @afterschoolhustle and Team Amsterdam’s
@favelastreet which is all we where fighting for!
Big up to the winners and team Amsterdam for being such great opponents and wonderful company.
Thank you also to @jakobmerten @joana.jordan @merelana @tantoomuch and Sonja for making us all shine!
And last but never the least thank you to my @goerl_scout for all her picture assistance and the good time.

Are are some impressions; all pictures as usual after the jump

Adidas x 1. FC Union

Here's another production with Adidas, where I worked infront and behind the camera:
The Adidas ZX 8000 FC Union
A shoe that celebrates the 1. FC Union
Berlin soccer club and the tradition this model
shares with the soccer fan scene.
One of the driving forces for the realization of this shoe is Liquit Walker, who is as much a
fan of the ZX, as he is of FC Union Berlin.
For the family & friends edition iron lace jewels where forged in a small old smithy in Berlin
Köpenick.
I will post some detailed shoe and making of pictures from our production days next week.

The Adidas ZX 8000 FC Union is limited to 1966 pairs (a nod towards the founding year of the
club) and can be exclusively purchased through the Adidas App for 125,55€. One can
participate at the raffle until the 20th of April, release is the 21st.

Schuhs 2.0

Here are some impressions of the Schuhs 2.0 event.
Unfortunately I could not attend the event myself, as I had to work, but
it looked like a lot of fun and I am hoping for many more events to come
in the future.
Big up to Hikmet for keeping the community spirit alive!

Sneakers of the Nineties – A Walk Through the Decade

In Kooperation mit OVERKILL präsentiert nineties berlin die Ausstellung

Sneakers of the Nineties – A Walk Through the Decade“.

ARTCADE opening recap

Here are some pictures of the opening of the 'ARTCADE' at the Wilmersdorfer
Arcaden last Thursday.
Until the end of the year 7 temporarily free spaces within the arcade have been
transformed by different creatives to give the visitors a whole new experience
through pop-up stores and art spaces.
A playground for creatives, some fresh air and new ideas.
The ARTCADE experience Room, showcases emerging extended reality content
to new and curious audiences – giving them the chance to experience
immersive technologies first-hand.
In a gallery-space with attached artist studios, the visitors can view art, visit
openings and watch artists live at work. The tape-art collective 'Tape That'
display their work and the graffiti artists RAWS, SKENAR73 and STEREOHEAT
created a visual overkill on floors, walls and ceilings.
The Lunatix Dance Production utilizes space for a dancing school that offers
workshops. Through the collaboration between Ria Wank, Roger Bernd, Hendrik
Nater and the House of Tales, an area is transformed into a glacier world, with
two escape game rooms.

Last but not least, a member of the GHS-Crew pays homage to his original sneaker
shop 'Mad Flavor' that used to be close to the Wilmersdorfer Arcades with a pop-up
sneaker shop and a vintage sneaker exhibition where BAS2, Tony Toupet and yours
truly display some sneaker history from our archives.

The ARTCADE are a cooperation between DIE DIXONS and the center management
of the Wilmersdorfer Arcaden.
