My weekend ist usually reserved for halls of fame.

I love seeting the output of the city´s graffiti artists every weekend.
Especially during the summer, one can visit the halls to see new pieces there
even 3-4 times a week. It makes me very sad though to visit Berlins best known
hall of fame nowadays.
This year Berlin is celebrating the 20th anniversary of the fallen Berlin Wall,
and the city decided to once again committ an asthetic crime!
Over decades the side facing former West-Berlin has been a constant canvas
for graffiti artist. Now it is being "restored"...
Since the East Side Gallery looks like this now,
here´s a chance to get a glimse at what historical meaning the Berlin Wall
has for my generation and why these white walls are so outrageous...
