WINGS for the Future
Jordan Brand launched its “WINGS for the Future” program with the goal of
motivation and inspiration of today’s youth using education, sport, and
creativity – with Inglewood High School as its first partnering school.
As part of the WINGS program, Jordan Brand employees will conduct weekly
workshops and participate in activities involving graphic designs, essay
writing, and career planning while providing a complete refurbishment of
the school basketball court and classrooms. To commemorate this honorable
partnership, Jordan Brand has collaborated with well-known artist and
sneakerhead Dave White of the UK, who is best recognized for his amazing
canvas paintings of classic sneakers. This time around, he gets to work with
the original Air Jordan shoe that is the foundation of Jordan Brand –
the Air Jordan 1.
